About

A platform where travel videos live on a map, not in a feed.

TravMap.org is not TravelMap (travelmap.net): that product helps you create your own travel blog with a map; we are a discovery catalog of other travelers' videos on routes. We are also not a video animator (Travel Animator, AvoMap, travelmap.video). TravMap.org is for finding and watching real travel footage by place on a map.

TravMap.org is an independent project, founded and built by Vladimir Volkov with AI-assisted engineering.

YouTube does not answer “what should I watch about this place”

When you search for videos about a specific country or city, the algorithm shows what got the most views. The most interesting and honest videos get buried.

A map instead of a feed

Open the map - see route pins. Click on a place - find videos from people who've been there. No algorithm between you and the content. Every route is tied to real coordinates.

Make discovery honest

TravMap.org is a map of the world built from real routes by real people. Alive, honest, emotional.
