FAQ for creators
- How do I add a video to the map?
- Just paste a link from YouTube, Rutube or Vimeo - TravMap.org pulls the title, description and thumbnail automatically. No re-uploading needed.
- Do views count toward my channel?
- Yes, 100%. The video plays through the official player - all views go to your channel's counter.
- Does my monetization stay intact?
- Yes, completely. All ads you configured work when the video is viewed through TravMap.org. We do not insert our own advertising into videos.
- Will my channel be credited?
- Yes. Creator data is pulled automatically and links back to your official profile.
- Can I add someone else's travel video to the map?
- Yes. Any registered user can add a video - you don't have to be the original creator. The video plays through the official player and views go to the original creator.
- What if someone else added my video?
- Contact us through the feedback form - we'll transfer the route to your profile or remove it at your request.
- Which platforms are supported?
- YouTube, Rutube, Vimeo. We're working on expanding the list.
