Useful for your trip

Transport
3 days before arrival, fill out the MDAC card online on the imigresen-online.imi.gov.my website. This will take 5 minutes and will allow you to go through passport control through passport self-scanning.
Transport
From the airport (65 km from the center) to the city: bus ~$ 4 (more than an hour), taxi Grab ~$ 20, Clixpress train $ 14 (33 minutes). If there is a transfer and change of terminals, be careful with the choice of train.
Transport
In the Kuala Lumpur metro, tokens are bought depending on the destination station. The token is applied to the terminal at the entrance and thrown into the turnstile at the exit.
Transport
To travel by train (unlike the metro), you can pay for travel with a bank card.
Where to stay
Hotel Sleeping Glen in the city center: ~US$50 per room per night, almost 1000 rooms, there is an Infinity Pool on the roof, near one of the largest shopping centers.
Transport
From the city center to the Batu Caves (13 km to the north): first by monorail to the Cerdan station, then change to the train, almost to the entrance of the caves (~30 minutes on the way).
Avoid
There are many wild monkeys at the entrance to Batu Cave. If you have food or a bag, they have a 90% chance of attacking you. Do not take food with you.
Tip
Ramayana Cave is paid (RM15), unlike the main Batu Cave. It is less popular among tourists and sparsely populated.
Timing
Climbing the 272 concrete steps to the main cave of Batu in the 30-degree heat requires good physical fitness. Start early in the morning before the heat comes.
Transport
Cars may not stop at pedestrian crossings. Cross the road with caution, despite the presence of traffic controllers.
Food
On the basement floors of shopping centers (for example, Pavilion), there are many food courts with a variety of food to choose from.
Timing
The temperature in February in Kuala Lumpur is +34°. Take water, wear light clothing, and consider the heat when planning an active sightseeing.
