- The author advises on a second visit to settle higher, for example, in Guzeriple, and not in Kamennomostskoye: there is a different air and views, and closer to the reserve.

- For a one-day hike to the Nagoy Kosh rock from the Laganaki checkpoint, about 6 hours of the entire route; the ascent to the plateau and to the rock takes about 2-plus hours.
- Avoid
- You cannot enter the reserve with dogs - they can smell a predator and provoke a conflict, as they warn at the entrance.

- To hike to the Rufabgo waterfalls, there is a paid fast trail from the Khadzhokh gorge (about 3 km to the first waterfall); there are also free routes, but the author got lost on them.

- The path to the Shum waterfall from the Shoka Gorge and the route to the Shoka Gorge are easy: the descent and ascent take a total of 5-7 minutes. Mount Oshten requires about 1.5 km of ascent and is suitable for the prepared.

- Thermal springs are located in the village of Tulsky: there are many tourist camps and complexes, you can come for an hour or three or rent a room for several days.
